How does facial motion contribute to face perception?

Using photorealistic avatars and machine learning to study facial motion perception.

In this project, we combine human behavioral and neural data with controlled, 3D-animated stimuli to test how different kinds of motion, such as expressions, speech, and identity-related movements, shape face perception.
