Inversion effects in humans and DNNs
In this project we want to find factors that can predict inversion effects in DNNs and humans.
Why does human face recognition show the particular behavioral signatures it does? In this project we examine the inversion effect. Im humans there is a great inversion effect for faces, but it is still unclear to what extend other objects also show an inversion effect in humans. To create better test for humans, we first test hypotheses in DNNs and then take this results to behavioural experiments.
