How does the brain balance segregation and integration of faces and bodies?

Testing the extent to which face and body representations are segregated or integrated in DNNs and visual cortex.

In this project, we identify DNN units that are selective for faces, bodies, or both categories, and use them fMRI encoding models to gain insights into the functional organization of face and body representations in human visual cortex.
